Ph.D. in computer science and M.Sc. in computer science and in physics. Researcher and lecturer at the Institute of Computer Science AGH and at ACC Cyfronet AGH. Postdoc at Center for Research Computing, University of Notre Dame, USA. Co-author of over 50 international publications including journal and conference papers, and book chapters. Involved in the EU IST ViroLab project, where he was the leader responsible for the middleware task and for contacts with external users. Responsible for Virtual Laboratory developed in PL-Grid project. His scientific interests include parallel computing, grid and cloud systems, distributed service- and component-based systems, and scientific applications. |
